My name is Maureen Whythe. I am a 51 year old mother of 4 children
and I am a childminder who ran in the 2007 Flora
London Marathon.
I ran for the ITP Support Association and so far have raised £1000.
I want to run for ITP because I have looked after 2 fantastic boys
whose mother had a condition called neonatal alloimmune thrombocytopenia
which basicallly means the mother's antibodies killed off her children's
blood clotting cells called platelets while they were in the womb.
If mum did not receive blood platelets donations the children would
have bled to death in the womb.
So please send all sponsorship donations to ITP. Please give any
amount for this good cause or donate blood/platelets.
Many thanks for your time and help.
Please click here to make a donation
to the Association to reward my efforts.
